Miki is a playful polar bear. Rather than catch fish with its mother Miki ventures off alone. “Up, up, up the snowy ridge. And that’s when he saw it…a dot in the snow.” As the dot gets nearer a small Inuit child is revealed. The pair embarks on an adventure, developing a blossoming friendship. When the girl drops her mitten (or paw) on the ice. The ice creaks and the mitten sinks, but Miki comes to the rescue, diving in to return it to his new friend. As the snow falls Miki loses sight of the girl, only seeing a small red dot in the distance. He finds her with “a Mummy Dot!” and the two nudge noses to say goodbye.
