Art and Max by David Wiesner
Art and Max by David Wiesner is a great picture book that promotes creativity, friendship, forgiveness and wordless books.
“Arthur knows how to paint. He’s ready to share his wisdom with Max, who has a lot to learn but can’t wait to dive right in.” The friends have VERY different approaches to the creative process. When Max can’t decide what to paint and paints Art, literally.
Chaos ensues and when Art becomes a line drawing Max has to use his creativity to put Art back together. At the end of their adventure, they learn to accept each other’s differences.
