Picture Books & Resources
Most parents and teachers will have faced children with challenging behaviour. They know it is difficult for children to always understand why they behave the way they do and its effects. Use these books to engage in purposeful discussions on appropriate behaviour and good decision making. Some books promote good behaviour and focus on developing self-esteem. Others show examples of aggressive behaviour, anger and frustration. Sharing these books will reassure children we all have lapses in behaviour, but there are strategies to move beyond this.
These resources relate to the book, author and illustrator. The number of resources varies subject to subject. Please check they are appropriate for your specific needs before using them with children. If you have any suggestions please get in touch!
