Picture Books & Resources
Many children experience verbal or physical harassment at some point during their schooling. Bullying can start with the spreading of rumours and exclusion from social situations. But it can escalate to intimidation, the damaging of possessions and physical abuse. Most children find it difficult to discuss bullying. Picture books are a great discussion starter. This selection of books looks at both sides of the issue, the bully and the bullied. The resource section includes a long list of information about bullying, its effects and how to support a bullied child.
These resources relate to the book, author and illustrator. The number of resources varies subject to subject. Please check they are appropriate for your specific needs before using them with children. If you have any suggestions please get in touch!
