I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen is a funny picture book that promotes manners, cause and effect, honesty and integrity.
“My hat is gone. I want it back.” Bear asks a series of animals if they have seen his lost, red, pointy hat, but they all deny having seen the hat. The bear feels dejected. “Nobody has seen my hat. What if never see it again? What if nobody ever finds it? My poor hat? I miss it so much.” It is only when a deer helps him remember that the bear goes to confront the one responsible for taking his hat.
Series: I Want My Hat Back (1); This is Not My Hat (2); We Found a Hat (3)
