Picture Books & Resources

TexJealousy stems from a lack of self-esteem and confidence. A new baby, a parent’s new partner, material objects or feelings of anxiety can lead to jealousy. As adults, it is our role to help children deal with these emotions. Understanding why they have these feelings promotes children’s self-esteem. These books show characters dealing with and overcoming feelings of jealousy. They are good conversation starters to discuss difficult emotions in positive ways.t
