Journey by Aaron Becker is a wordless picture book that promotes confidence, independence, perseverance, problem solver, risk-taker and thinkers.
A lonely girl escapes through a mysterious door in her bedroom wall, holding a red crayon. She finds herself in a strange and beautiful forest. After drawing a boat with the red crayon she floats down a river towards a medieval-looking city.
She witnesses an evil emperor capture a majestic bird. With courage and determination, the girl outsmarts the emperor’s army to set the bird free.
