Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed by Mo Willems promotes adaptability, independence, open-minded, and self-awareness.
“Wilbur, the naked mole rat who liked to get dressed.” The other naked mole rats couldn’t understand why. He explains “When I get dressed I can be… fancy or funny, or I can just be an astronaut.”
Despite his love of wearing clothes, Wilbur worries the rest of the colony won’t accept him anymore. But the leader Grand-pah proclaims they should show tolerance to Wilbur, leading to other naked mole rats to experiment with clothing.
