One by Kathryn Otoshi is a great picture book that promotes diversity, courage, open-mindedness and tolerance.

“Blue was a quiet color… Every once in a while he wished he could be more sunny like Yellow. Or bright like Green. More regal like Purple.” Generally, Blue likes being blue unless he comes across Red. Bully Red picked on quiet Blue. But along comes One who unites all the other colours and shows them how to stand up to Red and be counted.
