What are Relationship Skills?
SEL relationship skills involve establishing and maintaining healthy and diverse relationships. This is not an easy task. It will take time for children to learn, develop and practice.
For students to negotiate conflict and avoid inappropriate social pressures they need to communicate and listen effectively. They also need the confidence to seek and offer help when needed and share concerns with others. As teachers, we need to support them navigate daily interactions positively.
