“The witch had a cat and a very tall hat / And long ginger hair which she wore in a plait.” A witch is flying with her cat when the wind blows off her hat, bow and wand. A dog, a bird, and a frog return the items, and the witch invites them onto her broom. These extra passengers cause the broom to break and the witch lands in front of a dragon, but the animals, along with her cat save the day.
