Picture Books & Resources
Picture books are a wonderful tool to encourage and foster self-esteem in children. Self-esteem cannot be taught, it has to come from within. As adults, we must encourage and foster children’s self-esteem and positivity. This is easier said than done. Most people struggle with negative self-esteem during their life. This may stem from doubt, identity, fitting in, disapproval and struggling to stand up for themselves. The books promote positive self-esteem and help children make positive life choices. They cover the issues mentioned above and promote the message we are all special. Give children the skills to deal with negative situations that can cause self-esteem issues.
