Sidewalk Flowers by JonArno Lawson promote environmental responsibility, compassion and social awareness.
Holding hands, a father and daughter walk along the sidewalk of a grey city. The girl picks colourful flowers poking up through the cracks in the pavement while her father talks on his phone. They leave the dreary city behind and wander into a local park.

The girl places her flowers on a dead sparrow, a sleeping man and into a dog’s collar. As they arrive home, she places flowers in her mother’s hair and a few on her brother’s head. She keeps the last flower for herself, placing it behind her ear.
