Fish and Snail live together in the pages of a book. They are able to move to other books. Fish encourages the reluctant snail to join him on his adventure, but they argue when Snail refuses. When Fish swims away into a new book Snail’s devastation helps her confront her fears. After her demonstration of bravery, Snail reunites with Fish and their friendship triumphs.
