When strangers invade the city of Avala, they capture a young prince, while his parents are away from home. Imprisoned far from home he escapes but his red pyjamas against the snow make for a difficult journey home as his jailers pursue him. As he returns home the determined prince finds great kindness from those living in his kingdom. They band together to defeat the captors by all wearing red so the “prince was invisible in a sea of brilliant color.”
